What is a service contract?

A Service Contract is a period of time, between 1-10 years where we will inspect and carry out any necessary maintenance or repairs on a scheduled or on-call basis. This is done to ensure your roof lasts as long as possible and functions as well as possible. There are varying types of contracts depending on the roof condition and your specific needs:

Gutter Cleaning Contracts

Our most popular type of service contract is gutter cleaning. Keeping your gutters clean is essential for them to work effectively. Blocked or partially blocked gutters will tend to overflow creating a waterfall effect and subsequent damage underneath. The frequency of the gutter cleaning will depend on the amount of leaves falling onto the roof and the potential for damage should the gutter overflow. The price will vary depending on access, pitch of roof and volume of material that needs to be removed.

Preferential Service Contracts

This type of contract is good for a business (or homeowner) where speed of service and professionalism are paramount. After a storm or during a particularly wet period, trying to get a roofer out to repair a roof leak can be very difficult. We offer Fast Response to Leaks! VIP Service and we guarantee to rapidly respond to your roof leak and effect a temporary repair on the spot (if possible). More significant repairs will be quoted for and carried out promptly once quote is accepted.

Inspection and Maintenance Contracts

This contract provides Periodic Inspections done (usually annually or bi-annually) – the cost varies depending primarily on the size and condition of the roof being maintained.

Immediate repairs carried out on anything found e.g. patching and sealing potential leak areas and cleaning debris off the roof and out of the gutters.
Free quotes for more significant repairs needed.

Confirmation

If you are happy with the quote and wish to proceed, you can electronically accept the quote which instantly alerts the office, and we then get things moving for you.

Step 5.

Scheduling the Job​

Our typical lead time ranges from 3-6 weeks, contingent upon our current workload.

Step 6.

Project Execution

The actual roof replacement process can take between 1-7 days, depending on factors such as pitch, accessibility, size, and height of the roof. We’ll provide an estimated timeline before starting the project.

Step 7.

Project Progression

The site is set-up to provide safe access and working. Materials are delivered and put in a suitable place, the old roofing is removed, new battens are fixed into position, insulation is installed ready for your new roof. The roof sheeting, flashings, gutters, and downpipes are installed, as well as any additional components such as skylights or vents, and finally, the site is completely cleared of any rubbish or left over materials.

Step 8.

Clean Up

Upon completion, we leave your site completely clean, removing any rubbish or leftover materials.

It depends on the roof, its age and what is around it, particularly overhanging trees, which drive most gutter blockages. Rather than guess, we are happy to do a roof check and give you a written quote for anything we find, so you know the real condition before deciding on a schedule.

What does a roof check involve?

We inspect the roof and its drainage, identify anything that needs attention, and give you a written quote covering the recommended repairs. You are then free to have the work done or not. The check and the quote are free and there is no obligation.
